Lindt & Sprüngli’s story began in Zurich in 1845, when David Sprüngli and his son Rudolf started producing solid chocolate in their small confectionery shop.
In 1879, chocolatier Rodolphe Lindt developed the conching process that transformed chocolate into the smooth, melting texture Lindt became famous for. Today, Lindt is known worldwide for premium ranges including Excellence and Lindor.
